TVS Motor strengthens its presence in Iraq by launching 2 new vehicles
Indian motorcycle manufacturer TVS Motor Company Limited is reportedly launching two new vehicles in Iraq and opening a new showroom in Baghdad. The move will allow the multinational motorcycle company to reinforce its presence in the country. The new vehicles include a two-wheeler 5 gear motorbike called the TVS Star HLX 150, which is a successor to its existing model as well as a three-wheeler deemed as the TVS King Deluxe Plus. As per the reports, the TVS Star HLX 150 has been specifically designed for Iraqi roads and will embody a 150cc engine. Apart from offering a comfortable riding experience, it is aesthetically topped with black-colored alloy wheels and a powder-coated engine. Meanwhile, the three-wheeler TVS King Deluxe Plus is powered by a 4 stroke, air-cooled 199.26cc, single-cylinder engine, sources claimed. TVS has also opened a new retail outlet of around 500 square meters in 840 square meters constructed area in Baghdad. This retail outlet will focus on providing maintenance service, repairs, and spares support as additional offerings. R Dilip, Vice President of International Business at TVS was quoted saying that the new showroom in Baghdad is strategically situated at Palestine road which reflects on the company’s commitment to offering high-quality services in Iraq. He added that the motorcycle manufacturer is also planning to offer a variety of products focused on requirements and expectations as well as enhance customer satisfaction. If reports are to be believed, TVS Motor now has around 41 centers for customer interaction across Iraq. Moreover, the new retail outlet strengthens the company’s alliance with its distribution ally Ritaj International General Trade LLC. TVS is already selling its 2-wheeler and 3-wheeled vehicles in Iraq since 2016. It currently offers a wide range of vehicles which include the moped XL100, motorcycles HLX 150 and Max 125, scooters Jupiter and Wego, Scooty Pep+, NTORQ 125.
