CM.com acquires Dutch-based digital conversation platform CX Company
CM.com, leading conversational commerce platform, has recently acquired CX Company which is a digital conversation platform specifically designed to engage customers via intelligent chatbots, conversational artificial intelligence (AI) and virtual assistance in a personalized manner. The transaction covers the consideration of about € 15.5 million which excludes the capped earn-out. After the transaction closes, the acquisition shall be accretive to EBITDA. CX Company based in the Netherlands generally employs about 50 FTEs and has also recorded a revenue of about € 6.0 million in 2019. The firm is active in the Netherlands, Germany, France, and the United Kingdom and serves the blue-chip consumers mainly in telecom, utilities and financial services. CM.com’s CEO, Jeroen van Glabbeek said that the company is confident that mobile phones shall be the number one device that shall enable communication between both consumers and businesses.
