MRI Software buys Housing Partners to strengthen digital offerings

MRI Software LLC, a leading provider of real estate software applications and hosted solutions, has reportedly acquired Housing Partners to strengthen its suite of residential property management software.

Sources cite that the deal will add Housing Partners’ Housing Jigsaw, TAIM, HomeSwapper, and Streetwise product brands to the MRI Software’s suite of residential property management technology options, MRI Living.

Housing Partners’ services are extensively used by local authorities, social housing providers, and directly by tenants, with a focus on issues such as tenant safety and homelessness. Its technology and expertise will strengthen MRI’s ability to offer consumer-focused digital solutions.

These capabilities will accelerate increased innovation for benefiting tenants and make providers comply with regulatory guidelines, identify trends, and enhance services.

Speaking on which, Patrick Ghilani, CEO of MRI Software, while complementing the company’s powerful and interoperable portfolio with an innovative range of digital solutions, said that they are proud to welcome Housing Partners to the MRI family.

This deal expands the company’s to facilitate the delivery of front line services, helping social housing providers to bring enhanced mobility, flexibility, and security to communities, Mr. Ghilani said while adding that the acquisition is built on the foundation of the company’s commitment to improving experiences and lives on social hosing tenants through technology.

Jonathan Prew, CEO of Housing Partners said that the acquisition brings the potential for greater scalability and enables the company to bring the benefits of software to many more people.

He added that the company would support its clients in their desire to accelerate digital transformation, the need for which has also been highlighted by COVID-19 pandemic as social housing landscape to offer efficient and effective services remotely.

Meanwhile, Housing Partners will continue to cater to its customers without interruption. MRI will continue to support and develop existing products and solutions.
